Our Future

Still under-funded and completely reliant on volunteers, the RPYA needs support. We are in the process of reorganizing in a difficult time. Support is always welcome from the community.

Can you help make it happen?

If you would like to see the RPYA succeed in it’s mission, there are several ways to help.

Moral Support - Make sure others know you support our mission and so should they!

Volunteering - We are always looking for successful, well-adjusted adult role models to work directly with our youth as meeting or discussion facilitators, special project sponsors, or event organizers, or in several other roles in the organization. If you are interested in working with the RPYA to support GLBTQ&Q Youth, please email us at volunteering@rpya.org with your name, birth date, address, phone number, and why you are interested in volunteering with RPYA or fill out our Preliminary Application and mail it back to us.

We are particularly interested in assistance from teachers, grant writers, and other experienced fundraisers.

Community Advisory Council - The members of this council oversee the RPYA, provide resources, help us find other resources, plan for the future, and offer advice to the Governing Board. This Council is open to anyone supportive of the GLBTQ&Q youth. Contact us for more information about Community Advisory Council meetings and activities.

Donations - RPYA will always have need for additional funding to complete our expansions, acquire resources, fund activities, and outfit our facility. Personal donations and granted funds are our primary source of income, so we depend on our community’s generosity to fund our activities.

If you prefer to make donations by mail, click the link below, fill out and print the form, and mail it to us along with your check made payable to Rainbow Pride Youth Alliance or contact us to make other arrangements or if you have questions.
